The following terms and conditions apply to services offered by Hotel Boutique Vista del Mar S.A. de C.V. via Hotel Vista del Mar, the website www.hotelvistadelmar.com.mx, or its Call Center. These terms are extensive but not exhaustive. All operations conducted through the aforementioned channels are governed by this document and the applicable laws of the United Mexican States and the State of Quintana Roo. By accessing this page, you accept the terms of the Privacy Policy without limitation or restriction.
1. Reservations
Reservations can be processed online via the website, through our Call Center, by emailing info@hotelvistadelmar.com, or by telephone:

2. Confirmation and Payment Methods
To guarantee a reservation, the Hotel will charge the cost of the first night or the total stay, depending on the specific rate. Payment can be made via cash deposit, bank transfer, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express).

Name Changes: Once confirmed, guest names cannot be changed. Exceptional requests may be sent to info@hotelvistadelmar.com but are not guaranteed until officially confirmed by the Sales Department.

Room Upgrades/Changes: Subject to availability and current rates.

Cash/Transfer Policy: Payments must be made within 48 hours of the pre-reservation, or it will be automatically canceled. The original deposit slip must be presented at check-in.

Restrictions: Personal checks are not accepted. Payments via third parties unaffiliated with the hotel entity are not permitted.
3. Important Notices

Rates are quoted in USD (or the equivalent at the daily exchange rate).

Rates are subject to change without notice due to new taxes.

Applicable Taxes (as of Jan 2022): 16% VAT (IVA) and 3% Lodging Tax.
4. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. (Minimum age: 18 with photo ID and credit card/cash deposit).

Early Check-in: Rooms are assigned at 3:00 PM. Luggage storage is available; some services may incur a fee.

Check-out: 11:00 AM. (Please settle accounts 30 minutes prior).

Late Check-out: A 1-hour grace period is granted. Departures after 12:00 PM will incur a charge equal to 100% of the daily rate.

6. Extra Guests

Children under 9: Stay free (sharing existing beds, within room capacity).

Children 9–12: $10 USD per person/night plus taxes (sharing existing beds).

Ages 12+ (Triple/Quadruple): $15 USD per person/night plus taxes.

Cribs: Free (subject to availability). Extra beds are NOT available.
7. Cancellations and Refunds

Standard Policy: No penalty if canceled within 1 hour of booking. After 1 hour, a penalty of one night plus taxes applies.

No-Show: Charged the first night plus taxes.

Holiday Periods: (Christmas, New Year, Easter, etc.) Specific policies described in your confirmation apply.

Timeline Penalties:

21+ days before arrival: 25% of the total amount charged.

14–8 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount charged.

Within 7 days or No-Show: No refund.

Non-Refundable Rates: Cannot be used for other services and are non-transferable.

Refund Processing: 15 to 60 business days, depending on your bank.
8. Group Reservations (10+ Rooms)

Refunds for groups range from 30% to 50% of the deposit depending on the contract; 100% refunds are never available for groups.

Early departures for groups are not eligible for refunds.
9. Restrictions

Minors: Must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Environment: Only biodegradable sunscreen is allowed in the pool.

Pets: No pets allowed.

Smoking: 100% Smoke-Free. Smoking in rooms or balconies results in a $100 USD cleaning fee plus government fines. There is a designated outdoor smoking area.

Visitors: Outside guests are not permitted within hotel facilities.
10. Guest Conduct
We reserve the right to terminate a reservation immediately if a guest’s behavior is disruptive, including excessive noise, intoxication, or offensive conduct.

If terminated for conduct, the guest must leave immediately with no refund.

The guest is responsible for any damage or loss caused by their group and must pay repair costs before departure, including any legal fees incurred by the hotel.
